So your asking yourself, “Why should I use an agent and pay a 5 or 6% commission when I could do it myself?”

You can, Sylvie has seen many FSBOs (For Sale By Owners) over they years…but will you net more money?

IF you are doing it yourself to save the commissions, for example $20,000 on a $400,000 home…
…you need to know, the FSBO buyer doesn’t want an agent in the middle either.

They don’t want to pay a commission either.
They say, “well it’s worth $380,000 without a commission to start, and I’m shopping FSBOs for deal, maybe I can take advantage of the private seller…”

FSBO offers are usually very low.
